I should be on the list @ 13.77/104

BBB

ADDED ! this was at RMR no power adders correct ??? Also do yo know the 60' time

No power adders other than the eight GM installed under the hood.  I don't know the 60' because it wasn't working that night.  I just looked up the slip and the trap speed was actually 103.85.

I have a new best from the club night.   I am still working on traction issues I think, but the 60' timer was not working.

I did not get my YTI the other night.  I am hoping to get it the next club night.  So you should be good.   There was 80-100 cars there, but not very many spectators.  I hope there is a 2nd club night.

But you have a plan, show up, pay $25, at least get teched (maybe not YTI), get several time trials (I had 3, others had 4) and see how far you can go :)

I am finishing up the wiring on my DragBike and hopefully running it at the next race. Would I be able to fit in the other catagory or is it for cars only?

Well I ran my 88 IROC-Z28 tonight. I didn't do to bad be before it got rained out. My best was a

13.71
1.878 60FT
.174 R/T
98.32 MPH

I had traction problems and leaning out on the big end, my 3rd run was the best. I needed to bump up my fuel pressure as it was running to lean on the big end. Also it was still spinning out of the hole on the last run but not nearly as bad as the first 2 runs. I know that my car is capable of more after tonight. I think I can get it down to a 13.3 or 13.4 with a 60FT of like 1.7 just the way it is. Got to get the car to hook up better.

It is on a M/T ET street tire (drag radial) and I'm still turning them over but not alot. Yes I think the exhuast system did wake it up alot, but I also think the de-screened MAF did alot too. With the back pressure dropping alot I turned down the fuel pressure a bit too much I think. So on what would have been my 4th run I turned it up some but then got rained out. So I'll go next Wednesday and try it again. I'm pretty sure I can improve by a couple tenths of a second. I'm shooting for 13.2-13.3 just the way the car is.

Ok I went out today for the Bracket racing and got another new best. I ran a 13.610, new best 60FT of 1.851, 98.98 MPH. I just can't get it to hook any better with these tires. I think I need something wider. Bumping up the fuel pressure helped with more HP but also caused another problem less traction. Next move a Spohn TQ Arm and slicks. Then cam and new chip. I already have the cam and chip. Just need to find the time to put it in. Time is in short supply for me.
