Finally got the car out
« on: July 03, 2005, 11:22:13 pm »
Well I made it up to the Casch Valley cruise.  I got up there very late so I didn't get over to the car show.  I just parked in the Carl's Jr Parking lot and cleaned on my dirty car.  It is going to take about three more times of detailing it to get it clean.

I saw Hoppie (I forgot to tell you that I still have those rims if you want them).  And  as for all of you deaf people that were in the parade:  Craig/Grand Marshall, Geoff, Stalker etc  get some hearing aids.  I tried to get your attention, but apparently I don't stick out very well in a crowd  ???  Just kidding, I should have got there sooner.

DudeI heard my name being yelled a lot and didn't see half the people that were yelling it! hopefully next time we can get more people up here. It's really an awsome event. And we always go out to eat afterwords. I never saw Hoppie! Where was he hiding at? I saw him cruisnig arround on friday when I was headed to lunch in the beater, but I don't think he saw me!

I took off at about 8:00 to make sure that if I had issues there would still be some light to be able to deal with the car.  The car fired right up and I didn't have a single problem on the way home.  No voltage drop or anything.  I am thinking that my fans must have come on going up Sardine and created a voltage drop on the battery.  Anyway I have more confidence in the car now.

I agree I had a hard time finding where people were yelling at me from.   I swear I never heard anyone say my name in front of Carl's if you did yell out something to us. sorry man, heck had we known you were up you could have at least BS'd with us a bit BBB!   ::)  after the Cruise we met up with Craig in front of Fred Meyer's and talked for awhile, and drooled over the UHP.  :o

I had a blast this year guys. I really wish our club turn out was a nitch stronger, for hecks sakes this car show is awesome. there was a Noble M12 there!!!

I was really mad the parade was only 40 mins long vs. the usual 2 hours!! ::)

I heard some one calling my name but thought I was hearing things. Had a pretty good time over all.

I found Geoff and Landon's cars and hung around for awhile but didn't see them.  I did find Craig by his UHP Camaro.  Where was everybody else? I kept looking for UFBA stickers but the only ones I saw were on Geoff & Landon's.  ?Maybe next year have a meet time & place?
I have some pict's too but I left my camera at Bear Lake. I'll get it back this weekend.

I didn't even get there until like 4:00 PM. I dropped my car off the night before along with Geoff, It would have been nice to meet you.  too bad you didn't enter your car!! I would have liked to have seen it!!!

I was there from about 9am-1pm.  Would've liked to stay longer (& see if I won the car!) but I had some family stuff going on over the mountain at Bear Lake. If I can I will enter next year.  What's up with Tremonton? & didn't Sunset have a show coming up?
