Alternators

I am in need of a new alternator and need some advise on what i should get and what I would fit my car, has a serp. set-up. any help is welcome'd

just go to Autozone and get a duralst gold it has a lifetime warrenty and it's like $130 AND 105 AMP

I cahnged new battery but it is taking 3-4 crank before car start do I need new starter or any thing else

Try priming the fuel first (turn the ignition on, wait like 5 seconds, then start the engine).  See if that helps.

Sometimes it takes time for full fuel pressure to reach the engine, causing the longer crank time. 

If this helps, it could be a fuel pump going out, could be a clogged fuel filter, or just may be the way the system works.
