Kevin and Dave I hope you guys plan on riding a lot this year cuz I'm either getting a 450R, or the new Kawasaki 450R. Action will have one in at the first of the month and I have dibbs on it! LOL!

The Kawasaki would be great, its a Suzuki 450. Remember they became one, a while ago. I should have mine back together within the next week. Then its time to ride  :thumbsup:

These two are actually different. As far as the motor goes the Kawasaki has a longer stroke and smaller bore so it should have more punch out of the hole. There are quite a few differences between them otherwise I'd have a Suzuki right now! LOL! Besides, the Kawasaki is GREEN!!!!!!! He he!

Geoff, the bore and stroke are only different by tenths of mm's. with the suzuki having only a .6mm longer stroke. The best part about the suzuki is, it has the wider stance by 3 in. The kawasaki is 4lbs lighter. All I know is that some parts off of my 2000 suzuki will interchange with a 2000 Kawasaki. So I am sure they are still sharing some parts.
