Guess Whos the Racer

To help cure some winter boredom I am going to post a pic of a Drag Car from my infinate collection  Every other day or so , from the 70s or 80 s and see who can guess who it is
 BTW  I Blocked out the owner/drivers name

Saw this guy back in the early 70 s run 4 different times  hit the guard rail 4 times  he sure had trouble driving   ( edited the name  on the rear quarter panel)  12/06/07  5:00 pm  Hints after 24 hours old if no one gets it

This guy started racing early funny cars (a/fx cars )  then made a big name for himself  later  racing pro stock  He passed away about 7 weeks ago
