So what compression did you go with?  Which hotcam?  Hows it run?

it's 13.5:1 and the stage 1 hotcams is all they make for the LTR right now. I haven't started it yet cuz I don't have any gas for it or anywhere to ride it for that matter. I also need to get it dyno tuned up at Rexburg Motorsports. I downloaded a map that's close to what I have, but not close enough!

Yes that is a parking brake block off and painted caliper. There are many many other painted parts hidden in the quad. He he!! It wasn't to big of a deal. The biggest pain is getting the clearances right on the valves. Once it's broken in I have to do it all over again! UGG!!

Where do I get one of those blond things for my quad? I've been looking everywhere and haven't found anything.  I did start it up today and it runs, but it needs some serious tuning help!! And yes this hot chick is on an LTR he he!!

Sooo I got my bike back together too!  Took it to the dunes today.... and it didnt blow up, awesome huh?

It runs much better now... really happy with it.

Ended up going with a 12.5:1 JE piston (pump gas baby), stage 2 hotcam, and a dynatek ignition.  It was a good day at the dunes :)

It turned out pretty nice.  The cam is as "smooth" as stock, you cant tell the bike has anything done to it - no lope etc.  It pulls MUCH smoother all the way to redline (9000).  Really woke the bike up.

The dynatek ignition also has a launch feature, that is REALLY fun.  You just pull up to the line, mash the gas - it holds the revs to wherever you program it - so you get the exact same launch every time.... this really did wonders for my launch, since my launches were not consistent at all...
