1999 DUCATI Monster 900 City ...
« on: February 10, 2008, 04:20:08 pm »

It is 1999 DUCATI MONSTER 900 CITY

Since it is a "CITY" it is only one of 150! that made it to the USA in 1999 ('99 was also the only year the CITY model was made). RARE ! (all this info was internet obtained, so still verifying this ... )

The city model also means it had taller handlebars (have switched out for shorter ones), a windscreen (LONG gone) , the Mandarina Duck bags (soft saddle bags), and sometimes lower gearing for city riding (haven't checked yet).

The color on these bikes was BLUE. WHICH I REALLY LIKE !!!

Here is a STOCK photo:

It is used and of course has a couple issues, and OF COURSE some modifications will be done (say goodbye to the rear fender) , but by spring I'll be pimpin' it :)

Oh and top speed via GPS was 94.3 MPH (in the truck) on the way to ASPEN, CO

Now all you need is some fire, and a long metal chain

Are you going to ditch the mudflap / license holder?  :pimp:

The strange thing is.... no one in my family is into modifying cars / quads / anything really.   They have toys, but they leave them 100% stock :wtf:
