What are those? I never even noticed them until you said something! LOL!

Carburetor Vent Pods :(

BUT they should be gone soon, so you can see more of the sexy frame :)

Did you ever decide what to do with the wheel?    If you are going to get it fixed, then get it fixed - otherwise Roy might be riding more then you.  :na_na:

The SS looks like it could kick your ass, the WS6 looks like it's coming over to do it!

99 Trans Am WS6 - a few mods ;)
06 YAMAHA Raptor
06 YAMAHA R1
01 Honda CBR F4i - track bike
99 Dodge Ram 3500 dually - 'Goliath'

Well I need to quit riding it and get it torn down ... I'm kind of waiting for the Banshee's rear brake line to show up (this week) ...

Then I can switch the Banshee out for the DUCATI at my parents and:

take the wheel off,
do the oil change,
and maybe event he paint work (I'm running out of time!)

Also I'm watching this one on ePay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=011&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&viewitem=&item=320226453751&rd=1

BUT I would have to see if it would match the frames gold, then go from there, and match the rear wheel to it, or get the front one PC'ed to match the silver rear !!! AH too many options ;) ...

Another 30 miles today, had to ride through a herd of cows  :o That they were moving down the middle of the road (highway) in Benson, UT  :haha:

Then American Family called and started giving me the run around about insuring it as a "super sport" ... SO I had to send them pictures of it, and I included pics of Bandit 600S's , SV100's and Bandit 1250's. So that they would know the other bikes that it should be classed with.

I HATE LIVING IN LOGAN SOME DAYS !!! MOST people don't even know what a motorcylce is unless it's an enduro used to move pipe  >:(

Got the vent pod removal kit ordered and on the way, it is pretty much just going to be a bunch of vacuum line, some T's and Y's ...

But putting the necessary parts together in Logan area auto parts stores, would have cost me more time and money running around in fuel !!!

30.99 shipped , BUT probably still cheaper than trying to find the stuff in Logan

I would guess I paid 3 times the amount in parts (probably gather them for $10, NOT includung time/gas), BUT the instructions on which lines go where will be nice also :)

Hanes / JLH commercial with a DUCATI in it (I love JLH also! boobies )

P.S. I need therapy I'm addicted to bikes / DUCATI Another 27 or so miles today IN THE COLD ! :) Even got sprinkled on a bit  :-\

One of the most copied motorcycles of all time, the Monster immediately spawned legions of imitators – but imitation is, after all, is the highest form of flattery.

well it was 'Foggy'

In 2002, Ducati released a special limited edition model (only 300 units were built) in his honor, the Monster S4 Fogarty

Carl 'Foggy' Fogarty (born 1 July 1965, Blackburn, Lancashire) is the most successful World Superbike racer in terms of the number of championships and number of race wins

So yesterday on the way to my parents I saw a 2000-2002 M900ie parked at some apartments at USU !

And then today found this on KSL: (2002 Ducati S4 Monster Senna 916 edition) IN LOGAN !

Maybe there are more MOSTERS in UTAH, then I thought :) :) :)

HUNG DUCK !!!

Got the DUCATI TORN UP !

So far accomplished:

Oil change
got the bodywork started on the fender, cowl, beer tray, and side panels
front wheel sent for repair
front & rear sprockets changed (almost got the rear end ready to go back on, with the new chain)
ALL the emissions removed (including the side pods)
and K&N crankcase breather installed

Yea, I really enjoy this part of a purchase, I get to modify stuff and "make it my own" , and even if I bought something off a showroom floor I'd still have to do a lot of the "stuff"

What parts are you waiting on ???

Well Roy do it once and do it right, then I can just ride it all summer and not tear it down every weekend, well for maintenance anyhow, MODS are a different story all together.... :beerchug:
