Awsome Roy. We'll have to switch bikes for a second and see how much better the forks are.
Yeah anxious to do a test ride after the work, and get the comparison from you of yours to mine now!

Thanks guys.....yeah way happy with it, simple little change made a world of difference on the looks

Did some more cleaning of the rear end!
Sticker removal and my hard bag post remover mod  ;) looks better in person but I thought I would still throw up the pics even though it doesn't do it justice!

That will be it for a while in the back, several things up my sleeve planned for the front though  :sherlock:
Not too bad for a couple bucks investment

what did you use to mount your licence plate after you cut the rear fender?

Reused the stock mounting bracket, just drilled some new holes in the fender after trimming it down.
The new turn signals came with a bracket that mounted between the plate and the plate bracket, that they in turn mounted to.

I'll have to post pictures of mine and see what the difference is. I used the stock bracket as well, but I have mine turned 90 degrees and had to use 1" angle brackets to mount the license plate.

Oh ok I see!
Mine is just the same as stock only the bracket is mounted higher on the fender!
I have seen others do it you're way, I just did it this way because it was simpler and it doesn't angle the plate upwards as much (which I don't care for as much).
On the flipside though....you're method does allow you to trim more of the fender than mine does ;D

On a side note the ticker on the bike just passed the 10K mile mark :scaredjanine: ;)
