Anyone know if it's possible to put a newer T-56 6-speed in a 69 firebird behind an older chevy carb 350 sb from the late 60's early 70's?

Yes it is possible.  You need a T-56 from an LT-1.  And you will need to check the pilot bearing size.  I don't know the ins and outs of the swap, but it is possible.
