I purchased the Banshee on 02/08/2007 and gave myself a 2 year loan at 3.9% (on a CC) as of today 02/06/2009...

It is PAID OFF !!!  :metal:  :beerchug:

Nah, just piston and cam for internals, otherwise stock.  I was tempted to do big bore when I did the work, but people were having head gasket issues due to the bore.... but there is now an aftermarket cylinder that resolves that, so its tempting again!

Yea I guess it's like golf or something the smaller the better ???

SO ... this is on the way now:

and this:

Save your engine from harmful debris floating around in your oil. This does 2 things for you. 1 it is shorter and allows the oil to flow through the passage that the longer stock plug blocks, and 2 it has a strong magnet to catch all the nasties in your motor. Oh and 3, it comes with safety wire holes for you flattrack guys!

One of them is suppose to make it faster  :na_na:

Well after 100's !!! of hours of stock bore / piston use, it finally put itself to sleep on September 6th 2008 :(

Really I am surprised that it lasted as long as it did, in late 2007 the water pump gear took a shit, and caused some overheating, which cause the pistons to go brittle, then finally it broke after riding it in '08 ... I could tell that it was down on compression, which was the right hand cylinder (it took out the top ring). Then the left cylinder took out a chunk of the piston, finally causing it's demise.

Guess what I just found out. The guy that I'm working for has a son that lives in Levan utah and runs a company called Wildcard racing. He is on the BansheeHQ board under the name of slobanshee06 and his name is brandon. I have a feeling you might have heard about him? LOL!! It sounds like he knows what he is doing. Tell Brandon your friend works for his dad Kevin Avery. I think he might be able to swing you a deal or two! he he!!

Ha Ha, yea Brandon contacted me via PM on the Banshee HQ forums, BUT for this build (the beat LTR's and Raptor's build) I'm just putting it together so I went with a Nationally know source, Maybe if I do a 4 mil or 7 mil stroker someday (beat other Banshee's build) I'll contact them :)

That was just my phrasing, BUT yea I think a lot of BANSHEE owners use similar parts ... Wiseco pistons and NOSS cool heads :)
