I've got big dreams and just like everyone else, no cash! where can i go to get the best deals on restoration parts without getting ripped off? and if you've got some other advise for my first restore let me know. thanks  :thumbsup:

Well, what are you restoring?  If it's a Camaro of Firebird sweet!  The best places are "Yearone", "Classic Industries", or "the Paddock".  They helped me alot when I first started working on my 67 Camaro.  They are standardized and while you may find better deals elswhere, these three places will probably be your best bet for alot of parts.  I also recommend getting a chiltons or hayne or...if you can find it, a GM Parts manual that the dealers would use, it's got all the parts and instructions on how to put them in.  It's basically a chiltons, only better.  Good luck!

I'm restoring a 78 gmc truck. i'd like to go from the ground up. thanks for the references. i'll have to look into them. i was looking at lmc truck. do you know how reliable they are?
