I HATE STANGS!!!!!

Anybody know basic specs on 5.0 Stangs, stock or slightly modified...? HP? 1/4 mile? 0-60?    :sherlock: Gettin pretty sick of lookin at tail lights..... :flipoff:

the late 80's early 90's 5.0 and 5.0GT was fast because it was light.  Friend of mine had one and he won alot of races against stock Camaro's and Firebirds.  Z28's and GTA's would give him a run though.

The late 80s early 90s 'stangs were still a high 15 second car at best in stock form at this elevation / crappy air.  I ate many for lunch when I was still running in stock trim in my '94 Z (that ran a 14.8)

Sounds like its time to mod j555 =D

My 90 has Lakewood traction bars, oversized slotted rotors, Drift sport springs, Hooker headers, Performance Curve cat., 700R4 w/ B&M shift kit,  and my HO 305 has a 116 degree Comp Cam, decked/ported/polished heads w/Beehive springs, intake/tbi off a Caprice Interceptor, Transdapt spacer, Jet Chip/module, MSD coil/wires, NGK plugs......  :confused:  If 5.0s are runnin 15-16s stock.... Guess I'm just messin with the wrong Stangs....  Guess I'm just gonna build the crap out of the 01 block I'm workin on and let my T-5 do some work....  If anyone has a 5.0 or knows someone who does and wants to let it loose here pretty quick, send em my way..... :na_na:

The 01 is... :metal:  its the "high nickel" block from a "late model camaro" I'm told.  Its going in for machining in two weeks, then we'll see what I can cram in the bottom end.... :pimp:
