I think you'll really like the -1 up front.  I just got through doing a -1 sprocket (from Yamaha as well) on the front of the R1, it had a -2 on it when I got it - which was too much for my liking.  Then I installed a healtech speedo healer to get the speedometer right again - LOVE the top speed recall the speedo healer comes with.  I hit 142 yesterday without realizing it!  Wouldnt have known except for the speedohealer recall feature (this was after a dead even side by side run with my buddies Suzuki B-King - no time to look at the speedo a those speeds)

I then installed a healtech gear indicator - LOVE IT as well.  I was always trying to shift into 6th when I was already there :)

I love these bikes.

Hung with the B-King huh?  Nice!

I always try to grab 7th too :(  I might need an indicator.

Looks like a lot more padding.  Looks good!  My ass goes numb after ~30 minutes - I should get a better seat...

By the way - do you have a power commander?  If so I *highly* recommend their quick shifter..... easily the best mod I've done to the bike so far.

Nice.  Looks like a gel seat?

BTW - quick shift is only good as long as you stay up on the maintenance (ie.  lube the cable).

The Power Commander quickshifter briefly (for 48ms or so)  cuts fuel or ignition if you have their ignition module to unload the transmission and let you shift into gear whenever you touch the shifter - no cables involved at all.  It adds a sensor to your shift rod / linkage so it knows when your shifting and activates when it feels the shift pedal move.... its pretty slick.

     Holy crap....that's awesome...200K miles!

I use Continental ContiMotion tires on my Yamaha.  They are basically the cheapest tires I can find that I trust not to come apart on me.  I used them at Bonneville and they worked just fine at speed there.   :)

FINALLY ! (long story) got the new tires installed, also painted the sprocket while it was apart (I'll buy a proper black sprocket once this one is worn)
