« on: June 02, 2010, 07:32:30 pm »
Here is a picture from this past weekend results at Madras.

So far I've gone to 5 races and won 3 of them.   :wootwoot:  As the season goes, I will try to update this thread with information and pictures when available.  Hopefully I can keep it going

Madras is located in Central Oregon.  Fallon would be closer for you Bob, or even Boise

Yeah.  That was the first race with it after my accident.  Took it out testing this weekend, but because we have gotten soooooo much rain, there was zero traction.  It was just spinning first and most of second.  But atleast that got some runs on her.

Here is a nice launch picture from testing on Friday night.

The bike fell off a while back, and I found some broken suspension parts.  Got them fixed and trying to get the suspension dialed back in.  I think I have it there.  Now to figure out why the top end is falling off.

What?!?!?!??

The ET's fell off.  It isn't running as quick as it did last year or at the beginning of the year.

Here is a pic of this weekends activity.

I won the bike class again on Sunday and then lost in the final for King of the Track.  I had a red light damn it!!!  If it had been green I would have won.  I dialed a 6.40 and ran a 6.401 and the other guy broke out by .002

Just got home from Mission, British Columbia, Canada for the NHRA Division 6 ET Finals and I got runner up in the Bike/sled class.  Unfortunately my worst light of the day came in the finals and cost me.  .095 RT and brokeout with a 9.51 on a 9.54 dial.  Oh well, at least I made it to the finals.

Then we dropped a valve on the motorhome coming home.  Tow bill was for 32 miles and $300 later.

You've had a great season!  Too bad the last one didn't go quite as planned (both the race and motorhome)

Well so far I have been in 18 races this season and 9 finals, so yes it has been one of my better years, but the season isn't over just yet.  I have a couple more local street bike races (one this Friday night) and then the big end of the year bash at the Halloween Classic in Boise.

As for the motorhome I have a Duramax/Allison combo sitting in the garage that was already planned to be installed this winter into the motorhome.  Also I did have towing coverage on my insurance, so they paid a portion but not all because I had it towed home instead of the nearest repair shop.  They reimbursed me $250, so the tow only cost me $50.
