5 hour outage

The website was down for ~5 hours today due to a power outage here at my place   Not much redundancy in the ole server running in the basement    Anyhow, we're back online now.

Ah - I was wondering what happened.  Had some serious winds that knocked the power out?

Website was down again (not sure how long) due to a full disk drive.

After the reboot from the power outage, the hard drive that I use to backup the site / forum on to didnt mount, so my backup scripts filled up the hard drive the site is on - which breaks mysql (the database) and apache (the web server).

All fixed up now - I'll work on this so its not an issue in the future   I'll also get some monitoring in place so that I know when the site goes down.  I can fix it quickly when I know its down, but this time I didnt know it was...


Edit:  Looks like we were down from 01:19 until 13:11 today

we're tryin to get the power back on!!! lol I've been on trouble calls the past day (and night) the wind really messed things up.  Thank rocky mountain power for the lack of maintenance.  Anyway, thanks for keepin the site goin!!
