Cruise around Utah Lake
« on: July 13, 2011, 02:42:27 pm »
So i am thinking of doing a cruise around utah lake next weekend and stopping in santaquin at leslies family tree diner for some awesome scones. Northerners can meet anywhere up north and southerners can meet where they usually meet and then everyone meeting in american fork at the park-n-ride at 6 and leave at 6:45. Here is a route i was thinking let me know what ya all think. Figured I would try and plan something for utah county to maybe get some more people involved. Anyways let me know what you think and who would be interested.

Which weekend you thinking?  That is a fun trip.  I used to do that same thing right down to the restaurant when I first got my TA.

The SS looks like it could kick your ass, the WS6 looks like it's coming over to do it!

I love that cruise - and I love the family tree.  I live about 5 miles from there.

I think I'll be tied up on Saturday, but if plans change I'll be there.  I may do it on the R1 though.....  O0

We did a UFBA cruise over the Nebo Loop a few years back - and the Family Tree was the stopping point for dinner.  Was good times.

BTW, the nebo loop is still not fully open yet :(

P.S.  I would recommend taking the new pioneer crossing instead of Lehi main street.  That new road (Pioneer Crossing) is REALLY nice.  Its the new road that goes over the freeway at AF Main Street.

So there is a pretty good chance I'll make this.  We're going to try and hit the dunes early on in the day.... but should be back in time.  I need an excuse to go for a good cruise on the R1.  I wouldnt be the only bike either since Herb will be on his CRB..... bring the R1 out too Aaron :)
