2012 Season
« on: October 24, 2011, 09:26:57 pm »
I plan to hit every test & tune at RMR and Evanston next year. Anyone in? Hope the schedules get released soon.
I have 3 BAD passes in my bird and 8 4x4 launch passes

I'll be on a completely new setup. Trying to take a 6 speed, sticky tire and progressive 200 shot as fast as I can.

1/8th
Who cares about the last 1/8th, thats just dyno numbers. Racing happens in the first 1/8th.

Hmm.... Evanston may be fun...   I might have to think about making a trip up there.

I'll probably make a few passes on the bike at RMR.

I think Evanston is 1/8th. Cody. Take baby steps. Do one thing then add the next.

I am definitely taking one step at a time. But it is impossible to take many steps to set up a car at RMR. Midnights are impossible, and not enough test & Tunes.

Evanston you can get 20+ runs in, thats the only way I am going to be able to truly setup and dial in the car.  Plus LOTS of practice for me.
This nitrous motor is going to take some abuse, but I planned that going in. I have 3 bottles to take for track days. It just has to last long enough for me to figure out how to finance the next setup.

At 120+ mph in the 1/8th they still splat pretty good.  LOL  I actually had a big butterfly splat on the top of my boot after one run LOL

I may be able to make one Evanston trip, but if I'm at the track next year it's gonna be RMR most of the time. I pray that I will actually be out there and not twiddling my thumbs.
