Wendover Dragway Sept 25th

Talked to Randys wife today ,  In person  ( I was in Wendover all weekend 2 days of autox ) .... Anyhow ..  They are having a car show/ Drag Races   Sponsored by The  Red Garter Casino in Wendover   .. She Said this will Involve over $3500.00 in money paid out  . Sunday 25th of Sept ... She also said the schedule for the remaing season after the 25th  was to race every weekend thru October weather permitting

No racing this weekend though? You see my problem is I work during the midnight drags, so I can't go. Wendover is my only other option, and it's wayyyyyy out there! Ugg!!!

Well Like last time  ,  Im going to arrive Friday night for the big races Sunday (  details coming tomorrow night on the payout divisions)  Planned thing is another party Sat night ...  Burgers,  Beers ,   Gambling  at the casino , Etc etc . Heck  Ill stick my neck out ,  Last time  Randy opened the track exclusively for us  and no one showed up   anyhows  ,, Anyone wants to join  the Burgers are  Free    Ill buy and cook .. The beers isnt  BYOB  or better yet  buy it there in Nevada ,  it isnt  Holy beer there .   Anyhow   I will be camped at the Stateline campground  Come PARTY !

 Talked to Randys wife  again a bit ago  She said they have changed it   .. They are having Regular racing this weekend  (Sunday)  the  races for the Red garter is like the 15 th and 16 th of october Ill get ahold of randy (at least try ) tomorrow night  He sure is a hard bird to track

Great!!

Yeah, keep me informed. As an FYI because I know a lot of people going to ID, Boise will be having their Halloween Classic on that weekend (Oct 15th and 16th). That is a big draw from this area and may make the car count smaller for Wendover. You may want to pass that along to Randy too.

Anyone with any updated info or contact phone # for the Wendover race this weekend? I picked up a friends NHRA stocker to race at the Vegas Nationals in a couple of weeks and wanted to get a few passes on the car before going. ANY info would be appreciated. Thanks Tom

Would anyone be interested in a club event to the wendover dragway this year ?   Randy would be nice enough to have us if we had enough interest ( he is a neat dude)  and we could make a weekend of it  Post up if you have a desire  and  we can contact Randy again and  do a event there  Any interset for this upcoming year ?
