Soap water  with a sponge  then after they dry   I use a soft cloth with windex  then wax them .Sure makes unrusted ones shine (if rust  use  any kind of chrome polish paste  in a can to remove rust )

:stickpoke:  A little elbow grease has always worked for me...  :na_na:   ;)

J/K - I have some kind of clear stuff I bought in AutoZone by Eagle One (I will have to get the name for ya), it comes in a black spray bottle, but you spray it on and leave it for like 2 mins, it loosens up the brake dust, dirt, etc., and makes it tons easier to wipe off - but use a toothbrush, maybe some dish soap and water, and ta-da - all shiney!

For rust pits I use some stuff called Never Dull. It comes in a black metal can and I think it is made by Eagle One. Works pretty good for removing rust spots.

For just dirt I use windex and some elbow grease.

After you get it done and all cleaned up put some sort of wax on it to protect it.

here's what's going on... they are polished aluminum and some really really bad oxidization(spelling sorry) i've tryed never dull, blue magic, simplegreen, soapy water, toothbrush with some of the stuff, following directions. nothing is working even the littlest. so i'm going to try to get them painted black like i've always wanted to do so dave is trying to help me out with that.  and thank you for all your in-put

I have some Wenol polish I got out of summitracing.  It worked pretty good on my really bad oxidized truck wheels.  You can come get a little from me or bring a wheel down and try that out to see if it works.

The SS looks like it could kick your ass, the WS6 looks like it's coming over to do it!

www.mintconditionautodetail.com

On Washington Blvd in Ogden.  I've used what seems like hundreds of products on wheels and never could get the results this guy did.

He'll give you're wheels the treatment, a wash & wax, vacumm, and a couple other little things for $25.  Pretty much impossible to beat his prices, IMO.
