Having another kid.
« on: December 06, 2005, 02:18:07 am »
Yes my F-Body days (or any "fun car" days for that matter) are now officially over for years to come.  :'(

Found out Monday morning we are having a boy this time. I told a couple of you a few months ago about us having a kid so now you know what its going to be.  :)

Looking forward to a son this time though after the girl last time.

Congratulations!. The second time around is definitely better though. Just be everything you can be to the little ones. When your young you still have wants yourself. If you put some of those wants aside the benifits will be enormous down the road. A childs love is unconditional. An adults isn't.

Brandon, having a boy means, that you have to find an old F-bod and restore it with him. Congrats on having a boy, I know you have got to be way happy.

Congrats to you and Trish!  You can always get another car in a couple years big guy.  You only get the kids for a few years and then in the blink of an eye, they're off on their own.  I've had way more fun with my son than any car i've ever owned.  If ya get the itch too bad, you are always welcome to take a spin in the T/A. (Once I get the damn thing back together...)

Cheers,
JD

Thanks guys n gals.  :) I am really looking forward to a son. And I have thought about getting the junker and doing the fix up thing. In another 5 years or so the LT1s will all be junkers.

I am no too upset about it, I have been without a car for 3 years now so I kinda got used to it. But I had the bike to get my speed fix on, so now the bike gets sold and I will be goin postal on people with fast cars.  :sniper:  :icon_lol:

AAAAHHH!  Now it comes full circle.  I now understand why cops are always so pissed off at guys with nice cars. P*n!$ Envy.
