2nd gen is toooo heavy

ok guys. i need to put my car on a major diet. goal is somewhere around 3100 lbs. dunno if its possible with my big fat 74 camaro but i need to lose as much as possible....without fiberglassing anything :)

any help or input would be awesome

what are you at now and how extreme are you willing to go?

Remove all seats but driver. Then replace driver with light weight seat.
Remove Sound material.
Remove A/C and Heater.
Scrap undercoating off.
Lexan windows

lose the seat belts and 16 out of 20 lugnuts 1 per wheel is all you really need. do you really need glass in the car all windows can go.  :crazy: :confused: :P

What does it weigh now? Maybe join a gym and lose some weight? :thumbsup:

well i'm 5'10" and weigh 160-166 depending on what day it is. go to the gym everyday so i always keep tabs on my weight  :)

i have no idea what the car weighs right now. i'm scared to find out

take it down to MCR and weigh it. It's free and their scale is pretty close. That's where you need to start first before you start panicing about how much it weighs.

i'm not panicing, cause i know its fat! plus i have no way to get it there to weigh it. so i'll just shott for a goal and hope i make it  :)
