Well my wonderful news...

 Well as some of you may know, i bought a new car. well when i bought the thing and sold my old one i was told that it was a 355. i was also told that the block had some out of a 55 chevy. well when i pulled the headers out to wrap them i saw one thing that didn't make sence to me. there was a knock senser. now nowing they didn't have a knock senser in 55, and thinking to myself why would anybody tap a block to retro fit one i ran the block #'s. come to find out that the block is the stock lo3 that it came with. so know i don't know what i can believe from what he told me. i dont really know if i can believe anything  . so I guess i will be undertaking a new project. for right now i will keep the 305 in it while i build up a 355 or 383 to put in when i can get all the money and peice by piece it together. so just thought i would share my news. good or bad. by the way, anyone know where i can get a 350 4 bolt block for not extremely much?

Well your first indication should have been the "fact" it came from a '55 Chevy.... none of them had 350's (355 is .030 bored over) 265 CI in 55-56 then 283's in '57 It's all good though get it running right and on the road them build a 383+ ci engine for it

Yea, i suckerd for it tho  , but yes i am looking at building up a mean 383 to throw in. gonna take awile unfortunitly

I have all kinds of small block chevy stuff. Just let me know what you need. 350 4 bolts, 400 2 bolts, H/R 350 2 bolts, 1 piece cranks, 2 piece cranks. I know you got the idea.
